It's getting a little chilly in the mornings now and this is the time of year many of us myself included struggle to remove ourselves from our bed sheets to workout. 

I know it's hard but I like to ensure that my body is looking how I want it to look all year round not just for summer. So I put together some new circuits that you can do at home or at the gym and it's one less thing that you have to talk yourself out of it.


CIRCUIT 1

Warm up: 60 secs skipping normal/ 60 secs skipping high knees/ 60 secs doubles as many as you can x 2 rounds

Wall hold 30/45/60

Squats 12/15/20

Dips 12/16/20

Push ups 12/16/20

Mountain climbers 20/40/60

x 3 rounds (go up every round in reps as seen above)


CIRCUIT 2

Rabbit hops across the room 10/12/14 (Squat low and jump out as far as you can)

Walking lunges 30 secs/45 secs/60 secs

Skipping 30/45/60

Straight punches with hand weights 30/50/50

Russian twists 20/30/40

Plank 30/45/60 secs

x 3 rounds 


CIRCUIT 3 (Gym related)

Ski Erg or Rower 100m/200m/300m (30 secs rest in between)

Squats with Dumb Bell press x 15

Walking lunges 10/12 with DB overhead (8kg)

1km run on treadmill on 12/13

TRX Push ups 15

TRX plank with side crunch 45 secs

Battle ropes 30/45/60 secs

x 3 rounds
