Now I could bore you with how much I love this city (being this was my 6th time) or I could get right to it and give you as much information as I can on where to eat, shop and play (since I was there for 3 weeks). So lets get to it shall we?

EAT:

Now if you want to get the real NYC experience grab a hotdog, pretzel or any food truck with a line around the block and start there but I'm going to give you the NYC I love.

BREAKFAST: Sarabeths, Cafe Henrie, Russ & Daughters, Jacks wife frieda, Two hands, Bluestone Lane, Maman, Little Park, Lafayette Bakery, Dudleys, The Nomad and Butchers Daughter

BEST COFFEE: Laughing Man, Ground Support, Cafe Integral, Saturdays Surf NYC,Everyman Espresso and Happy Bones.

BRUNCH: Bubby's, Sadelle's, Buvette, Locanda Verde, Five leaves, Essex, Russ & Daughters, Estela, Balthazar, Cafe Boulud

LUNCH: By Chloe, Freds at Barneys Downtown, Gramercy Tavern, Upland, Le Coucou, Gemma & Sant Ambroeus.

DINNER: Eataly, The Nomad, Spotted pig, Mission Chinese food, Cosme, ABC Kitchen, Polo Bar & Augustine

BEST COOKIE: Levain Bakery is the best cookie I have ever tasted a MUST!!

BEST PIZZA: Roberta's, I can't fault this place its in Brooklyn and worth the trip. 

BEST BURGER: We had a lot of burgers my Hubby has a burger Instagram so we needed to try a few so here are our favourites: Salvation Burger, JG Melon(my fave), Happiest Hour, Burger Joint and Shake Shack

BEST CHICKEN DISH: The Nomad, its everything and more. 



MUST DO:

*Knicks, Rangers or JETS/GIANTS Game.

*Comedy Cellar - You never know which comedian will show up we had Aziz Ansari who showed up to try out SNL material (We went the night before Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld and Amy Schumer showed up) 

*Top of the Rock ( Best view and in my opinion better then Empire State) 

*Hire a bike and cycle around Central Park

*Comedy Show at Beacon Theatre we saw Jerry Seinfeld amazing! 

*Walk around Brooklyn after walking the Brooklyn Bridge, visit Dumbo. 

*Helicopter ride (Haven't done this but next time will be booking NY on air tour)

*Ferry ride to Staten Island

* Bar hoping in Greenwich Village(Old school pubs/bars)

*Central Park Kids Zoo its a adorable I could stare at the Penguins all day. 

* Visit The Apartment by the Line

*Spend your day exploring the MET, MOMA, NY Public Library, & the Guggenheim

*High Tea at Bergdorf Goodman



FITNESS:

We worked out a lot whilst we were away especially at our hotel gyms it just meant we can eat more really. Ha! but my favourite workout class though was Gotham boxing but below are a few more we have tried. 

*Barry's Bootcamp, Rumble, Soul Cycle, Tracey Anderson, Gotham Gym & SLT.


TO STAY:

We stayed in NYC for 3 weeks and we both like to experience different parts of the city so we moved 3 times with a week in each hotel. I honestly can't pick a favourite all 3 bring something and meaningful to the trip. 

 1 Hotel Central Park, Soho Grand Hotel & The New York Edition
