Last week I completed a 3 day vegetable cleanse and had many emails on what the cleanse involved if you saw my snapchat you would of seen some of the meals but below is the 3 day cleanse in detail.
For me it wasn't about weight loss (I did lose 1.5 kg, Hubby lost 3kg) but for a detox. I have been feeling a little sluggish and bloated so needed this to kick me back into gear. What the cleanse does is it gives the digestive system a break and is almost like hitting of the reset button.
We did the Institute of Women's Fitness cleanse that my husband's trainer got us onto ( I am not a nutritionist so please consult your doctor if you have any issues).
It was hard and for me very challenging and I did work out during but probably advise against it as you do feel very weak stick to low to moderate exercises. What I did learn is that I don’t eat nearly enough vegetables to help nourish my body & keep me fuller for longer, especially greens like spinach, broccolini & bok choy I would have huge amounts of these with my lunch & dinner. I loved it & I plan on keeping those amounts of greens in my diet as I transition back to my normal eating habits!
