We were late on the Byron Bandwagon but we have certainly jumped right on now.
We decided to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary in Byron Bay last weekend. Last year we spent a couple days for the first time after the wedding and couldn't wait to come back.
Not only are the beaches incredible (HELLO Watego's) but the food and the vibe is everything you could want in a long weekend away.
So here is my travel diary of where to eat, what to do and the best places to stay in this beautiful place that again is in NSW. How lucky are we in Australia!!!

STAY
We stayed at The Byron at the Byron which is one of my favourite places to stay not only is it surrounded by a rainforest but it has beach access, gorgeous pool, great food and instantly has you feeling like you have been there for weeks.
We also stayed at the newly opened Elements (It opened the day we arrived). What can I say it might have just taken over the Byron at the Byron for one of the most relaxing places to stay.
The pool is so blue with the most comfortable chairs to lay on, food and drinks are instagram ready as well as taste good, the private beach is stunning (soon to have a beach club opened) and the rooms so spacious. Ill be back next year for sure get my chair ready for me please!
Other places to stay are;
Raes on Wategos (Good place for lunch too)
SHOP
Hope & May (my fave)
Spell and Gyspy (Byron Institution)
Island Luxe
What are your faves in BYRON? Anything I need to add or see next time?
